2025 Tax Bills

The summer tax bills will be mailed out July 1, 2025.

Winter tax bills will be mailed out December 1, 2025.

The summer tax bills were due on Monday, September 15, 2025, by 5 pm to avoid all interest.

Beginning Tuesday, September 16, 2025, add an additional 1% interest to the summer bill.

Beginning in October 2025, add an additional 1% interest each month.

Winter tax bills are due Monday, February 16, 2026, by 5 pm at the township office.

February 17, 2026 through February 28, 2026 add an additional 3%. 

Suggestions for Paying your Taxes

  1. Mail your taxes in. Lincoln Charter Township, PO Box 279, Stevensville, MI 49127
  2. Contact your bank and set up a payment through their bill pay. (Usually no charge.)
  3. Drop your payment in the drop box right beside the Township front door.
  4. Use our drive-up drop box by the flag pole across from the Township Hall.
  5. Set up an e-check payment through Allpaid. ($2.95 fee). PLC code: a002xj.
  6. Pay using your credit card at Allpaid. (2.95% fee). (Bills up to $34 have a $1 fee).

But I want a receipt!

If you want a receipt, send a self-address, stamped envelope with your mailed payment and we will stamp the bill paid and return it in your envelope. If you walk your payment into the office please bring your whole bill. We will stamp the top portion and return it to you. The top half of the bill is your receipt. Bring it in or send it with your payment..

In order to insure that your payment is applied to your account, please include the bottom bar-code portion of your bill. When we scan it, it goes directly to your account.

If you are running short of time and you are nearing the tax deadline, please use our drop box right outside the front door or the drive-up drop box by the flag pole. It is checked each morning and evening. If mailing your tax bill, allow 7 to 10 days for it to reach the township. If you mail it the day before or the day of, it will not make it here in time. Postmark is not accepted as the payment date. If received late it will be sent back for additional funds.

Dog licenses can be purchased all year, January through December. You will need to provide proof of rabies vaccination and whether the dog has been spayed or neutered.

Access Current or Past Property Taxes

Access your current or past property taxes. Once at the site click on the tab that says, "Create an Account" and continue to set up an account that can be accessed at anytime throughout the year. A confirmation will be sent to your email. Follow the directions in your email to finish setting up your account. After your account has been set up you can come back to our website at anytime. Remember, it's free to access your account but you must pay $2 to access anyone else's property.

Important Tax Notes

Please note that partial payments are accepted throughout the tax season.

Leasehold (trailer parks) and Personal Property taxes are paid at the township all year long! Current year leaseholds and personals and delinquent leasehold and personal property taxes are always paid at Lincoln Charter Township.
